Class Dojo

Our school uses class dojo. Please sign up for it. You can communicate with me through it, and see how well your child is doing throughout the day.

This rewards students on positive behavior that he or she shows throughout the day and week. Students work toward getting 10 points by the end of the week. If they receive 10 points by Friday students have the opportunity to have 10 minutes of free time to play on their chrome book or play a classroom game.

Ms. Snyder

I am so excited to be your child's teacher for this school year. Fourth grade has always been my favorite grade, and I hope it becomes you and your child's favorite grade as well. This year is going to be fantastic!

BLUE FOLDER AND HOMEWORK

Please check your child's blue folder everyday, sign their citizenship daily, and make sure your child brings their folder and citizenship to school everyday. It will be used for any communication and information between school and home.

Students will receive a weekly skills worksheet. On this worksheet it will have the weekly stories, skills, spelling words, vocabulary words, and the essential question we are focusing on for the entire week.

Students are required to study at home. They need to study their spelling and vocabulary words, as well as read for 20 minutes a night.

Students are given a spelling practice sheet. They are to study 4 times a week by practicing writing down their spelling words once a night, along with making flash cards for their vocabulary words. If students turn in the two worksheets, and have them filled out with the spelling words for the week (all 4 times), I will add 2 points to their citizenship for the week.
